Are Manga Read Right To Left. This writing format is horizontal and reads from left to right, just like English. Instead, manga is read in the opposite direction to the way we were taught by having it read, right to left!

If you are recommending manga (RT! = Read This!), please use the following: [RT!] name of manga (genres) and be liberal with genres! They're read that way because Japanese writing (kanji) is read right to left. Because that's how manga is SUPPOSED to be read! i prefer right to left for manga, that's what i'm used too. but i mean Asian manga >.> because it's part of their culture I think. for me at least. if it's made in America i couldn't really care less either way xD.

A book printed in tategaki opens from what a Westerner would call the back, while @coleopterist Sometimes in manga there is text written left-to-right in horizontal lines (yokogaki), but the book itself is still "right-to-left oriented".

Since it is not aimed at anime/manga fans only, do you think I need to put arrows, to let readers know how to.

Learning to read manga in a right to left and then up to down sequence, correctly interpreting panel elements, and exploring characters' emotions by Read panels from right to left and in an up to down sequence. Even "modern" Japanese manga are read from right to left. Naruto manga, Bleach manga, One Piece manga, Air Gear manga, Claymore manga, Fairy Tail manga, Inuyasha manga, and many more… It is read left to right like in English when written horizontally.
